You unsubscribe by sending danceresponse an email stating that you wish to be deleted from the system.  We kindly ask you to provide reasons for wanting to terminate your association with dance response.  You will be required to complete any outstanding bookings, unless a replacement dancer is agreed.  Please note you forfeit your annual membership fee which remains with danceresponse

Annual Membership is £65 unless you register as part of an incentive scheme.  Membership is renewable every twelve calendar months.  You will be sent a reminder 2 months prior to your renewal date.  If you do not renew your membership your profile will be ‘paused' on the day that your renewal is due.

As a dancer you will;

Upload  information onto the website and ensure that your profile is kept up-to-date

Ensure the health and safety of participants, warming up and cooling down both yourself and the workshop participants

Provide workshops which are an enjoyable, qualitative learning experience for participants.

danceresponse reserves the right to visit any workshop, we will endeavour to contact you before any visit occurs.

Complete your own risk assessment when you arrive at the school.  If you feel there is an on-going risk to working in the school you should provide feedback to danceresponse so that issues can be raised with the school.

Provide your own transport and note that additional money for travel is not available

Endeavour to fulfil a booking once it has been accepted

Inform danceresponse if you cannot fulfil a booking which you have accepted.  If a replacement dancer cannot be found you  will reimburse danceresponse for any costs incurred including a cancellation fee to the school

Ensure the profile is up-to-date and 'paused' if you are unavailable to work for a period of time

Ensure that the allotted code for the workshop and your danceresponse account number is clearly shown on any invoice along with dates and venues where you have worked

Ensure you pay their own tax and national insurance payments as your contract with danceresponse in no way implies you are an employee of  the organisation

Look after any personal equipment or property which you take along to the workshop as it remains your responsibility (this includes any necessary insurance and legal requirements)

Check the emergency procedure with the school on your arrival and in the case of an emergency occurring handover responsibility to the responsible adult/s present from the school

Agree to be part of the peer monitoring system and understand that schools will provide a rating for your workshop between 1-5 and possibly a short statement about you and your work.  If any of the ratings are 2 (or below) danceresponse staff will discuss this rating with both the school and yourself before it is placed against the profile.    If you are consistently rated at 2 or below your profile will be ‘paused' and a member of danceresponse staff will contact you

Provide hard copies of CRB enhanced clearance, public liability insurance and education qualifications for verification before their profile goes live on the site.  danceresponse will destroy the information once it has been verified.

Ensure that any publicity that you do in connection with the booking includes the following statement "The visit by [your name] was made possible by danceresponse"

Dancers will not

Take further bookings, or seek further bookings from schools they have made contact with through danceresponse unless it is through danceresponse.

Danceresponse will;

Send confirmation and full details of the school and workshop package once you have accepted the booking and the school has paid

Discuss any rating given to a dancer as part of the peer monitoring process, which is 2 or less, with both the school and dancer before it is placed against the dancer's profile.

 ‘Pause' the profile of any dancer who consistently receives ratings of 2 or below through the peer monitoring system and discuss a way forward, including CPD opportunities

Ensure that, as long as all paper work has been completed and a correctly completed invoice received, dancers are paid monthly for any work which they have undertaken though danceresponse
